COOL Campaign

Moves are afoot for top Aussie Sprint Car driver Brooke Tatnell to run an American programme this season, including World of Outlaws, driving a car with an Australian-built COOL Chassis.
There is a New Zealand connection with the campain, with Tauranga-based New Zealand COOL agent Bernie Gillon heavily involved with the assault, which will also be used to promote Gillon's and Kerri-anne James' Flamcecrusher products in the United States.
The offer to race with the new TLC team came at a time when six time World Series Sprint Car Champion Tatnell was concidering his future in the sport, due to the financial pressures involved. The team will take in atleast 20 meetings. Meanwhile, Gillons involvement with the sport continues to grow, and along with the COOl Chassis, he will be importing a range of new and pre-used low mileage American racing equipment in response to the burgeoning interest in Sprint Car racing in this country. Among the range on offer, there will be American Race engines built by Lee Nelson at Ostrich Race Engines. Each engine will come with a certificate that Ostrich Race Engines have rebuilt the engine, along with dyno and spec sheets.
